Motorcycles are the choice of Indonesian people, as the main means of transportation. As a product of the automotive industry, it is very competitive in creating shapes, brands, technological sophistication, designs and colors. Color is one of the main attraction factors of motorcycle ownership, especially among teenagers because it serves to provide color to beautify the appearance of an object. The process of giving color or commonly referred to as painting will also protect the motorcycle body from scratches, sharp objects or corrosion. The method commonly used in the painting process is the spray method and uses 2 different paints, with the aim of knowing the effect of the quality of Belcote paint and the quality of danagloss paint on the painting process of the motorcycle body. The results of the painting process carried out data collection in the laboratory and carried out the analysis process using the Response Surface Method (RSM). The results of this study that the use of Belkote paint on plastic materials is known that the paint thickness represents the specified standard, namely 0.42 m and the pressure variable, the spray distance has a correlation to the paint thickness, the pressure correlation value is 0.952, the spray distance correlation value is 0.988. For the use of danagloss paint on fiberglass material, it is known that the paint thickness is 0.185 m and the pressure variable, the spray distance has a correlation to the paint thickness, the pressure correlation value is 0.499, the spray distance correlation value is 0.433 and in the cross cut test it is known that the results of Belkote paint on the material plastic has no peeling paint compared to danagloss paint on fiberglass material, this is because the fiberglass paint sprayed is still not perfect.
